Lizzie Horner

I’m Lizzie, the COO of A Better Monday, where I work alongside my wife, Amanda, to help organizations create thriving, people-centered cultures. With a background in nonprofit leadership and facilitation, I’ve had the opportunity to partner with teams across industries - including tech, healthcare, and hospitality - to build high-impact environments where everyone can perform at their best. I thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous situations and am passionate about ensuring every voice is heard and valued.

Before joining forces with Amanda at A Better Monday, I worked with organizations like Apple Inc. and SoulCycle, where I honed my expertise in leadership development and team culture. I’ve also spent a lot of time in the nonprofit sector, helping leaders and teams collaborate more effectively to create meaningful change. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Education: Training and Leadership Development from Louisiana State University, where I was an active member of the Tiger Band and served as president of a prestigious campus leadership organization.

When I’m not at work, I’m enjoying life with Amanda and our three dogs. I’m an avid reader, knocking out over 50 books a year, and always have a novel in hand. Whether I’m skiing, playing tennis, or diving into my latest read, I bring the same passion for growth and transformation to my personal life as I do to my work.
